カジュアルvs丁寧な英語・Casual vs Formal English

英語にはシチュエーションによって使い分けた方がいい言葉があります。話している相手によってカジュアルな英語と丁寧な英語を使い分けなければなりません。例えば目上の存在の人やビジネスシーンには丁寧な英語を使い、逆に友達とはカジュアルな英語を使ったりします。特にフォーマルな場面や敬わないといけない相手にカジュアルな英語を使ってしまうといいことが起きかねないので、注意した方がいいです。

丁寧な英語は言葉一つ一つをきちんと発音やタイプし、省略などがいっさいない状態です。カジュアルな英語は言葉を短くしたり、若干なまった感じで発音やタイプする状態です。

In English, there are both casual and formal words that are used in different situations. The casual English words are shortened from the original word, and should be used only in situations that are not formal, such as in business situations.
